Hello

Hello!

I'm Ms. Patty, and I love teaching music to kids of all ages.

I have been teaching for three decades now and I am happy to admit, it never gets old.

I'm always looking for ideas to keep my teaching fresh and inspiring, sharing the joy and love of music, and someday hoping to hear my students are still playing, maybe catch one of them on stage or hear that they are mentoring their own students.

My Story

My Family

Patty Hurlburt is a dedicated music teacher, who founded Creative Music to serve the town of Madison and the surrounding towns circa 1987.

She also teaches General Music K - 8 and Directs Elementary and Middle School Band at two local schools.

She holds a Bachelor's Degree in Music Education, and regularly joins with other musicians to share in ideas, and performances together.

She plays piano and organ at the United Methodist Church in Clinton, and has ministered in music on the Shoreline in several churches since 1987.

My whole family is musical; my hubby, Al plays drums, and my son, David plays guitar, bass, keys and sings. Catch a glimpse of our band, Sonic Boom on our Media page.

I grew up singing with my mother and father in church from age 4, and continued later singing with my sisters. There was always music in the house, our neighborhood was truly entertained, so I heard recently from an old friend when reminiscing, lol.

When visiting for lessons...

Our canine family member might greet you from the window with a bark, but she's not allowed to come into the studio.

Studio is located in our home downstairs.

Parking is in the back.

Parents are welcome to stay during the lesson, or drop off.

Thank you for dropping by the webpage.

Reach out if you are interested in taking lessons!
